Avery Lately

Lately Avery has been one wild, emotional two year old.

He throws fits at a drop of a hat and is happy all in the same minute. To say he takes that after his mom is an understatement!

He loves boots! Even if they're a couple sizes too big!

He still loves trucks and cars and sometimes plays with trains. He loves riding toys. He still has his paci and the night night will probably follow him to college at this point!

He has become a huge picky eater, which makes it so hard on me but seems to be a very healthy "thick" guy which reminds me of his sister at this age. Sketti still remains one of his favorites!

He loves people and rarely ever meets a stranger (which is just like his pawpaw B. who "knows" everyone).

He has learn to yell (thanks to his big brother) and often voices himself this way. Hey, we're working on it. :)

He adores Laynee.

He hates for Connor to tell him what to do or how to do something, his most used line is "no, Connor" which means I don't want to hear whatever you have to say. I'm still hoping they will bond in years to come!

He now sleeps in a "big boy bed" and loves it! From the first night he hasn't wanted back in his crib. YAY! He loves the freedom of being to get in and out of bed without help.

His most used "new" word is GUYS-"come on guys", "let's go guys", wanna play guys". Everyone is "guys". Coming from a 2 year old IS THE CUTEST THING.

He loves hugs and loves giving hugs. I tell him everytime, you are full of Riddle blood cause the Riddle side loves some  hugs! ;)

He scared of characters (halloween wasnt so bad but we only went to the local Trunk or Treat with him).
He's one funny lil' dude and I'm so glad he's ours!

Our baby is two!

This post is more for me than any of you!

Just trying to document what Avery was like at two since the thought of getting his baby book out and getting it updated is actually pretty scary to me.

At age two Avery loves

the beach.
throwing things.
his momma.
Laynee.
Sissy (sitters dog).
swimming.
afternoon walks.
Hawaiian sweet rolls
mommas spaghetti
fruit.
his ni (paci).
his night night (blanket).
Levi and Cole.
hotwheels.
music.
TV.
strawberry jelly.

 

What a difference a hair cut makes-big boy!

 

At 2 he is finally starting to talk! After tubes a couple months ago and us backing off his pacifer he has finally started saying new words, words we didn't know he knew and then trying to say other words. He reminds me so much of Laynee at this age, from the fit throwing, just now talking and I'm gonna get my way or else attitude! He definately rules our roost. He can be good as gold one minute and into something terrible the next! He loves playing cars and will set for hours moving them around and around a table, chair or whatever else he can find to arrange them on. He insist on having his night night and ni (paci) with him in our car as well as the dvd player playing. He hates long car rides and insist on walking like a big boy anywhere we are. Hates to hold hands. Loves to stomp and is all boy! At age 2 there is no getting around that you are a hand full but would we know any other way?

Snuggle Bug is what I normally call him (cause he does love to snuggle) but I'm not sure that will be his nickname cause we have alot of other names that we call him. We'll see though!

I love Rock!

Today since the weather was great I took Avery out to take some pics of him in his "I Love Rock" leggings. I love them on him and he hasn't got to wear them since his little feet stay so cold. Although I didn't get a smile out of him I did get some good pictures of his little legs! His new favorite thing to do is chew on his hands, I swear he's teething! :(

Bath Time with Daddy!

Around our house we share everything...that includes bathtime duty! 

When I saw these two together I had to run and get my camera for a few quick photos. Avery loves his daddy so much already!

The pictures aren't great cause lighting in our bathrooms pretty much sucks but I couldn't help sharing the sweetness!
